Looking for a high energy show for the kids? This innovative production uses all manner of everyday (and not-so-everyday) items as musical instruments in a percussion symphony. Brooms, garbage cans, buckets, sticks and even matchboxes become urban instruments. The show is a musical and dance extravaganza-it is a very high energy electrifying performance. The characters/dancers/musicians/performers interact through the dance and music and the show is dramatic at times and at other times comical. There is some audience interaction, intense moments and very light moments.
The show is 1.45 hours and there is no intermission. However the show is lively and will keep the kids entertained throughout. It is definitely suitable for kids of all ages, it will inspire them to start creating their own music and the innovative use of the objects will surprise them and keep them intrigued.
