This is Northern Europe’s largest aquarium and home to about 20,000 water creatures. The aquarium has a magnificent walk-through tunnel where you are surrounded by the swimming fish. In the Children’s Wing you will find three floors of activities for kids. There are open workshops for kids where they can create their own art under the watchful eye of professional artists. The workshops are free to museum visitors and held Tues-Sun 11am-5:30pm for kids aged 4 to 16 years.
This complex is much more than a swimming pool. It is perfect for a cold rainy day as the pools are indoors. There is a large elliptical pool; a sports pool; a mountain pool with a trampoline, seesaw and climbing wall; an inland lake pool and hot pools.
Take a canal tour by boat with any of the companies which offer this service. You can take the guided tour around the harbor with a commentary and see many of the city attractions from the water. The boats leave from Nyhavn and Gammel Strand.
