Sealife is one of the best Blackpool attractions for kids. This aquarium is home to over a 1000 creatures including colorful fish, stingrays, and sharks. There are feedings throughout the day-the shark feeding is especially interesting! The touch pool is fun for children as they can hold a crab or touch a starfish. There is a small play area, cafe and gift shop too.



Madame Tussaud's is one of the UK's most popular attractions. The wax museum is famous for its life like statues. Your children will like seeing David Beckham, Simon Cowell, Lady Gaga and more!



Stop for a bite to eat at one of the local seaside restaurants and enjoy some fresh fish and chips. There are lots of great restaurants to enjoy on your family holidays in Blackpool, England. If you are visiting this seaside town in the autumn, don't miss out on the Blackpool Illuminations (early Sept to early Nov). Children will love heading out in the evening to see the 10 km of light displays including nursery rhyme characters, teddy bears, 3D displays, moving light displays and more! You can drive or catch an illuminated tram ride to explore the sites and be sure to walk some of the route so you can see the displays up close! There are vendors selling toys and souvenirs that light up.



Go Karting is one of the fun Blackpool activities for kids. Take a spin around the racetrack with the family. Ages 5 and up.

Blackpool Tower is one of the fun Blackpool attractions for kids. The circus show will entertain kids of all ages with the clowns, acrobat acts and lots of jokes. The kids will have a great time in Jungle Jim's fun indoor playground. The Tower Ballroom is a must do if you are traveling with your budding dancers or musicians. Children will love seeing the professional dancers while you enjoy a refreshment in the beautiful ballroom and you can even join in for a dance or two! Recently opened is a spooky Dungeon attraction and 4D movie.


Pleasure Beach is one of the top Blackpool attractions for kids. This amusement park has lots of fun rides, shows, and games for the whole family to enjoy. Teenagers will love the thrilling infusion water roller coaster or a ride on the Big One-the tallest roller coaster in Europe! Children will have a great time on the ghost train and all the fun rides in Nickelodeon land.



Paintball is one of the fun things to do in Blackpool with teenagers. You will start with a safety briefing and then on to a fun round of paintball. Dodge the paintballs as you hide behind the obstacles and try to defeat the enemies! Ages 12 and up.



One of the best things to do in Blackpool in the evenings with children is to head to Brimley street for the Brilliance Light Show. Kids will enjoy seeing the dancing lights and lasers and lively music. This is a free activity.



Carnesky Ghost Town is a spooky haunted house amusement ride complete with live ghosts, scary dark tunnels and creepy illusions. It is located on the South Promenade. The ride is 10 minutes long and sure to thrill older children (too scary for the little ones!)
