London Edition Hotel Family Package
LOCATION
The hotel is located in Central London in a landmark Edwardian building in the leafy Fitzrovia neighborhood which is just north of the shop-lined Oxford Street and a short stroll from Soho and Chinatown.
ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, my daughter and I were wowed by the marble lobby with its beautiful ceilings, leather club chairs and wonderful ambiance. We were treated like royals by the staff from the doorman to the bellboy, all very professional! At check-in, the staff gave us a warm welcome, a bottle of water each and explained our package. We were then taken to our spacious loft. We were given a loft room which has a connecting room which pleased my 14 old daughter very well and she was ecstatic when she discovered she has her very own bathroom. Most important for a teen!

We relaxed for a while and to be honest it was difficult to tear ourselves away from our suite! We then went for lunch nearby and when we got back to the loft, my daughter had a surprise on her bed of a journal and coupon book, just for teens with a thoughtful handwritten note. She was thrilled. We had a great afternoon out and decided to stay in and watch a movie, which is included in the family package that evening. It was lovely. There was also a gin trolley for me! A talknig book explained the history of the gin and showed me how to mix myself a cocktail which was super cool! |
If you are travelling with young children, the family package also includes a babysitting service, pop up play tents in the room and an preloaded iPad with kids movies!

DAY TWO In the morning, we had a full English breakfast at Berners Tavern which contains eggs, any style, herb sausage and garlic, pork, tomato, middle white back bacon, stoneaway black pudding, Portobello mushroom, and tomato. We really enjoyed the hardy breakfast! |
