Little girl on the beach in Cabo San Lucas
  • Spend the day at Chileno beach and the kids will have a blast snorkeling . The beach is calm and with the reef there is lots of marine life to see. There are also some tide pools for the kids to check out. Toddlers and babies will have fun playing in the sand.

  • Head to the Marina and take a look at all the boats coming in and out. You can watch the boats sailing in and out of the harbour and the sea birds too! There are several restaurants with a view here too.

  • Hire a Jet Ski for the family for an hour and take turns bringing the kids for a ride on the back. Your teenagers will love this!

  • Take a ride on the Buccaneer Queen Pirate Ship and your kids will love the Pirate antics on board. This replica pirate ships offer various tours that are fun for the whole family!  This is a great idea for an evening excursion with the kids!

  • Hire a glass bottom boat and head out to the arch where you can check out the sea lions laying on some of the rocks. Stop off at Lovers beach or divorce beach to collect some shells. Head to the marina and you will find lots of boat tour operators.

  • Go for a horseback ride through the desert trails or on the beach. This Equestrian Center is very family friendly with pony club size horses available for kids 4 and up. The landscape in Cabo is so beautiful and quite different from the Cancun area-it is great fun to explore the area on horseback!

  • One of the best things to do in Cabo with the kids is to eat at Gordo Lele's . This hole in the wall restaurant serves up delicious and cheap tacos, but the best part is the entertainment. The owner puts on quite a show as he performs Beatles songs complete with props. So much fun! My family loved this!  Read up on the delicious food in Mexico!

  • Cabo Submarine offers day and night tours in its semi submersible submarine. Explore the exciting marine life while 8 feet under the water. This is a great activity for your babies and toddlers to enjoy.

  • Cabo Dolphins offers several different programs. The dolphin kids program is for ages 4-9 and includes hugging, feeding and singing with the dolphins. Swimming with the dolphins is available for ages 5 and up (kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult). There is also a dolphin trainer program for ages 12 and older.

  • Head to Puerto Paraiso mall for some shopping. There is also a movie theater (some English movies), bowling and an arcade for some fun with the kids. Check out the local markets for some excellent souvenir shopping. The kids will have fun bargaining.

  • Another one of the Cabo family attractions is the tour of the glass factory where you can watch as the artisans make different shapes. They often take requests too. It is an interesting tour and educational too! Great souvenirs here too!

  • If you are on your Los Cabos family vacation in January to March then don't miss out on a whale watching tour. The whale migration path is from near Alaska to the warmer waters of the Sea of Cortez. Your kids will be thrilled to see the whales leaping in the air. They really put on quite a show.

  • Zip lining is a great activity for kids 7 and older. Enjoy 3 miles of zip lining above the beautiful Costa Azul Canyon. Your teenagers will have a blast doing this in Cabo! Strap yourselves in and fly, bounce across the suspension bridges or rappel down a cliff!
