Travelled with My Mom

Age 9

Marakesh, Morocco

The first day we went to see our hotel. It was very beautiful. We went to the roof and there was a courtyard with a pool at the bottom. We had mint tea and cookies. Then we went to the town square and I saw King Cobras and monkeys. We heard the call to prayer from the mosques. It sounded nice. Then we walked around the stores and my Mom went crazy over shopping again. She bought so much stuff we had to buy another suitcase.

The next day we went to a palace and walked around. Then we took a horse and carriage around the town. We went to Jardin Marjorelle and it was so pretty. There was really weird and cool cactus, pretty flowers and cute cats and bamboo. Then we went to a tannery where they make things out of animal skin. It was the worst smell ever. I felt like I was going to throw up. Then we finally left and went to the hotel and ordered more tea and cookies.

The next day we went to the spa. It was relaxing and now I love the spa. My mom had a massage and seaweed wrap. It was really steamy and hot in there. We went back to the gardens again because it was so pretty. We went to the town square again and saw the monkeys and took photos with them .

My mom took a picture with a snake around her neck. I had really delicious soup for dinner. We shopped some more and then went back to the hotel. I loved the spa in Morocco and it is my favorite country that I have been too.
